Drone photography for Charleston real estate

Charleston Media Group adds FAA Part 107 certified drone photography to any shoot for $150. Aerials show what a ground photo can’t: the lot lines, the marsh or water behind the house and how close it sits to the beach or downtown.

  • Flown by an FAA Part 107 certified pilot
  • Airspace checked and authorization requested when needed
  • Property, lot and neighborhood context shots
  • Edited and delivered with your listing photos

How much does drone photography cost in Charleston?

Drone is a $150 add-on to any photo or video shoot with Charleston Media Group. It’s captured in the same visit and delivered with your other photos.

Is your drone pilot licensed?

Yes. Barry Cunningham holds an FAA Part 107 remote pilot certificate. Some Charleston addresses sit in controlled airspace near the airport; we check every address and request FAA authorization before the shoot when it’s required.

Which listings need drone photos?

Waterfront and marsh-front homes, homes on acreage, land, anything near the beach, and new communities. If location or the lot is a selling point, the drone shows it better than words.

No travel fee for shoots within an hour of Johns Island. Farther out, we add $50 for drive time. You get a QuickBooks invoice after delivery, payable online by card or bank transfer.

Questions agents ask

Can you fly in bad weather?

We don’t fly in rain or high wind. If the weather turns, we reschedule the drone portion at no charge.

Do HOAs allow drones?

Most do, but some gated communities and resort islands have their own rules. Tell us when you book and we’ll confirm before the shoot.

Listing going live this week?

Send the address and the day you need it. Barry confirms by text, usually within the hour.
